Raucous Writers Afternoon Tea
Wednesday 9 October & Wednesday 16 October, 2 - 4pm
Elizabeth Gaskell’s House
Join us for a raucous afternoon of riotous tales about the North West's celebrated writers, and the loved - and loathed - characters they’ve created. Hold tight to your china cups as popular tour guide Suzanne Hindle regales you with stories ranging from the bonnets and gossip of Mrs Gaskell, the feisty northern grit of Walter Greenwood and the laugh aloud antics of Henry Horatio Hobson, to the twisting turns of super-sleuthing Sally Wainwright. Price includes entry to the beautifully-restored home of the city’s most famous Victorian novelist, tea/coffee and cake.
Carer goes free tickets are available for disabled access customers for this event. Please call Quaytickets on 0843 208 0500 or email email@example.com with your phone no and booking request between 9am - 5pm to book disabled access and carer goes free tickets.
