Lit Live: Michael Hofmann & Igor Klikovac

Tickets for Lit Live: Michael Hofmann & Igor Klikovac at The International Anthony Burgess Foundation

Michael Hofmann was born in Germany, grew up in England, and teaches at the University of Florida. Ingenious and brilliantly entertaining, One Lark, One Horse (2018), his fifth collection, ends a twenty-year poetic silence. He is known for translations of Döblin, Kafka, Fallada, Benn and Joseph Roth. His reviews and criticism are gathered in Behind the Lines (2001) and Where Have You Been? (2014).

Igor Klikovac is a poet whose work is as shaped by his Sarajevo roots as by his travels: long-resident in London where he works as a journalist, Stockholm Syndrome (Smith Doorstop) translates work from his fourth Bosnian collection, translated by the poet and John McAuliffe.

After the event is off sale online, tickets can be purchased directly from the Martin Harris Centre Box Office or on-the-door, subject to availability. The Martin Harris Centre Box Office opening hours are 12.30pm - 2.30pm Monday to Friday. The International Anthony Burgess Foundation Box Office will open one hour before the event is due to start.
