HALIFAX IN THE 1970S
A wide variety of images, taken during a decade of enormous change, when streets and buildings were lost for
ever. Square Chapel is shown in a derelict state, along with nostalgic views of The Piece Hall before its first
restoration, old Woolshops, and Winding Road. The new Burdock Way is featured, a new underpass being
constructed, plus massive changes in King Cross Street.

Unreserved Seating – Seats are unreserved and you will need to choose your seat as you enter the venue. If
you wish to sit together with people you have arrived with, we recommend arriving at doors open time to
choose consecutive seats although we do not guarantee this is possible. Ushers may also ask you to move or
condense your group to free up seating for other audience members to be seated.
