Bats are a vital part of our native wildlife and can tell us a lot about our environment through the pressures they face. They are an endangered species, so we can do our bit by building bat boxes to help them to thrive!
On this course you will have the opportunity to learn more about bats before building two bat boxes, one for you to take home and the second to be sited at the Slung Low Wood, a semi-ancient natural woodland in Honley.
Step-by-step instructions and help will be on hand along with some kits that can be easily assembled so anyone can have a go!
Where: The Holbeck
When: Saturday 10th April
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Age Suitability: 18+ (This workshop is part of a programme of classes and courses designed for adults)
