Pines Express Three Course Dining Train at The Avon Valley Railway

This is a Dining Train event onboard one of our heritage steam trains.  Seats are in open carriages around tables of two or three people.
Our onboard bar will be open serving a range of wine, beer, cider and soft drinks.

Prosecco on arrival
Starters -
Smoked salmon, cream cheese and chive roulade served on mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes and lemon mayonnaise.
Trio of melon with orange sorbet.
Half a hot cheesy scotch egg with a salad garnish and chunky tomato relish.
Mains -
Most tender leg of braised lamb in a mint gravy, roast and new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Chicken and bacon salad served with crispy bacon on a tossed mixed salad.
Mushroom Bourguignon with shallots and carrots served in a rich red wine sauce, roast and new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Desserts -
Raspberry and Prosecco trifle topped with clotted cream
Orange and ginger cheesecake served with clotted cream
Assorted cheeses with cracker biscuits and grapes

These trains are usually steam hauled and depart at 12:15 pm.
