She wrote The Arbor and Rita, Sue and Bob Too before dying aged 29. Adelle is a poet and novelist. Her first novel Black Teeth And A Brilliant Smile was based on Andrea’s life. Adelle wants to share the genius of Andrea Dunbar with us, through exploring archive material, reading scenes from her plays and through her own expertise on this ground-breaking Northern artist. You don’t need to know anything about Andrea already to enjoy this. Come along and hear about her life and work from one of the region’s most interesting writers.
