Tickets for Christian Responses to the Holocaust at IWM North (part of Imperial War Museums)

The Centre for Jewish Studies and the Department of History, University of Manchester and IWM North present a one-day conference, Christian Responses to the Holocaust.

The conference will explore how Christians across Europe and in the UK responded to the Nazi persecution of Jewish people. The place of Holocaust memory in today’s Jewish-Christian relations will also be considered.

Conference speakers: Peter Kurer (refugee from Vienna 1938), Dr Hannah Holtschneider (University of Edinburgh), Dr Christian Goeschel (University of Manchester), Dr Ion Popa (University of Manchester), Reverend Canon Steve Williams (Saint Gabriel, Prestwich)

Academic programme organised by Dr Jean-Marc Dreyfus, Reader in Holocaust Studies, University of Manchester

A buffet lunch will be provided. Kosher and other dietary needs can be met if requested when booking.

If planning to use the IWM North pay and display car park, please note that parking charges will apply. Parking for this length of time is £8. There are no exemptions. The pay and display machine will accept coins only.
